  • Our setting

The Oberberg Fachklinik Fasanenkiez Berlin is located in the quiet district of Wilmersdorf, close to the vibrant Kurfürstendamm. Our clinic is housed in a prestigious historic building dating back to the Wilhelminian era.

    Take the space you need

Following its previous use as the Hotel Metropolitan, the building underwent extensive renovation and was expanded with a newly developed attic loft typical of Berlin architecture. Great care was taken to preserve the historical elements while creating a modern, minimalist interior design with a thoughtfully developed colour and lighting concept.

Child- and adolescent-friendly rooms, spacious communal areas, and a bright, generously designed loft invite both activity and relaxation. Our on-site clinic school is also located within the building.

    Our Rooms

The clinic offers 42 inpatient and 9 day-patient treatment places. All patient rooms are modern, comfortable, and age-appropriate.

We provide single, double, and triple rooms. Standard accommodation is in a triple room.

    Our Living Areas

The clinic consists of three treatment teams, each following its own colour concept. Each team has its own lobby area with an open kitchen and a large communal dining table where everyone can gather. A comfortable seating area creates a welcoming, homelike atmosphere. This is where we work, eat, and spend time together. Our daily Open Staff meetings also take place here. There are no traditional office structures on our wards.
    We work with you.

In the spacious loft area on the top floor, patients can be active or relax. In addition to daily therapy sessions, the space includes table tennis, table football, and various opportunities for movement and recreation.

A large teaching kitchen invites patients to cook and enjoy meals together.

    Our Therapy Rooms

The therapy rooms reflect the colour concepts of the respective wards, making orientation within the clinic easy. The rooms convey calmness and a sense of security — creating the foundation for successful therapy.

    Nutrition

“Enjoy and strengthen” – essential ingredients for recovery

Our motto, “enjoy and strengthen,” is based on a health-conscious, balanced, and flavourful diet. Individual needs, such as allergies or intolerances, are of course taken into account.

Lunch is freshly prepared and delivered daily by a catering service. Breakfast and dinner are prepared together within the clinic.

We provide nutritional counselling and therapeutic support regarding eating habits. In our cooking groups, we promote a mindful and conscious relationship with food and enjoyment.

    Leisure and surroundings

Leisure activities for children and adolescents at the Oberberg Fachklinik Fasanenkiez Berlin

The clinic’s central location offers a wide range of leisure opportunities. Whether walking in Tiergarten park, strolling along Kurfürstendamm, visiting galleries and museums, or enjoying music and theatre — Berlin’s multicultural offerings are right on our doorstep.
